There are many adventurous experiences to be had in Khao Lak, and the surrounding areas. Nestled inland amongst five spectacular and adventurous national parks. We can arrange for you to visit the absolutely breathtaking Khao Sok Natural Park.
It is covered by the oldest evergreen rainforest in the world, huge limestone mountains shooting straight up in the air, deep valleys, beautiful lakes, exciting caves, wild animals and much more. The whole park covers 645 square kilometers. It is actually the heart of a complex of five continuous conservation sites that comprise the largest protected forest on the Thai-Malay peninsula, covering over 4,000 square kilometers.

Elephant trekking, trekking on foot, canoeing and jeep safaris are all possible activities, which will give you the experience of a lifetime. This park has an unbelievable array of wildlife including leopards, Malaysian Sun Bears, Malaysian tapir, sorrows, wild Asian Elephants, wild boars, numerous primates ( dusky langurs, pig – tailed macaques, white handed gibbons), and literally half a dozen tigers. In total there are 48 mammal species. There are also many waterfalls to experience in the Khao Lak area.

If you like to dive or snorkel, Khao Lak is the launching point for one of the top diving destinations in the world, The Similan and Surin Islands. Renowned for their colorful marine life, vast coral gardens and clear waters, the Similan group of islands attracts many divers and snorkeler’s from around the world. The Luckanawadee is only 10 minutes drive from the launching pier. There are many scuba diving schools located around Khao Lak, offering a wide range of facilities. There are also tours available for snorkeling, fishing, and excursions. Phang- Nga province also has an annual 7-day turtle releasing Festival in March. Turtles raised by the Fisheries Dept. are released by Festival participants into the sea at Thai Muang Beach

One of the premier courses in the region, Blue Canyon is set in a secluded valley, overlooked by Phuket's famous hills. Host to the Johnnie Walker Classics in 1994, 1998, 2004, and 2007. The Honda Invitational was also held here in 1996. The club offers two 18 holes championship golf courses, Canyon course and Lakes Course.

The world championship Canyon course has won a number of international awards, including "Asian & Pacific Golf Course of the Year 1999" (Hertz International Golf Travel Awards) and the Top 500 Best Holes in the World" for its par 3, 17th hole.
